This offering is for an excellent 3rd Reich period Deutsches Jaeger game warden’s badge. The stamped brass shield features the organizations logo of the skull of a stag with up swept antlers, with overhead starburst and swastika. While the obverse does exhibit some wear to antique silver finish, it doesn’t detract from the beauty of this badge. At the base of the shield is this game warden’s membership number; 15338. On the reverse in relief is the Hoffstatter company name and address. As shown the pin and catch are in good order, and function properly.
