This is a rather elusive accoutrement for a 3rd Reich Hirschfanger. It is the portapee which is worn by senior foresters during the 3rd Reich era. Constructed out of gold bullion and trimmed with green highlights, the 17″ troddel shows light wear overall, and beautiful toning throughout. The stem, cap and acorn are all super tight, and this knot is complete with the proper bullion decorative stem slide. The end of the knot is stuffed with dark green bullion as shown. If you have the dagger, you absolutely need this knot to complete it. These are very desirable portapees, which are not that readily available in the market place. $400.00
