    Minty EKI by W&L – M364

Offering a cased Iron Cross 1st class manufactured by the Rudolf Wachtler & Lang awards firm. This EK I is of the highest quality and condition, with a fantastic blackened brass core rating nearly 100%. The outrageous frosted frame is right up there compared to the famous Deumers and Mayers examples, which collectors love to collect. The same is true of the matte silver coating shown on the reverse of the badge. It’s as nice as you’ll find with one of these awards. This is the 1st Type example made by this company and shows their very typical pin, hinge, and catch set up, being void of any maker marks. This badge is housed in it’s original issue case which it came in. All of the leather is in very good condition, showing extremely light age, and with the embossed Iron Cross symbol in silver on the lid. Other than the knee flap holding the 2 halves together, the flocking and satin material remains in real decent condition as well. An excellent example of this coveted WWII German military award. I highly recommend this one, it’s a beauty! $795.00

Early Assmann Luft Flak – M349

Here is the mother of all Luftwaffe Flak badges that all award collectors want; it’s the early Tombac Assmann example. Double marked with the award firm’s famous capital “A”, these badges are nothing short of being absolutely impressive. Not only is the detail of the wreath, eagle, and that big ole “88” like no other proficiency badge produce during the 3rd Reich, but the thickness and weight of these awards is something else!  At a whopping 47 grams, these Assmann Luft Flaks are truly a catch for 3rd Reich award enthusiasts. $695.00

        WWI EK II – M366

This is a neat little World War I Iron Cross 2nd Class, and it’s display case. The medal is in very good condition, to include the silver frame and blackened core. The only marks I could find on the ribbon ring are the letters, Fr. This award is housed in a glass covered custom case, made of steel which is held closed by 4 pins which pass through the sides. The light gray fabric has been recessed to hold the cross, with a stud pin to keep it in place. You can see it’s been in there a very long time, by the impression and darkening left by the award. This item appears to be something which the German veteran of the Great War did in remembrance of time served, and his combat award which he was awarded. It’s a cool display, and an exceptionally nice EK. $195.00

Struck in heavy Tombak with a blackened eagle upon a silver wreath, this is the most gorgeous Assmann AG/RO that I have ever seen. Assembled with the proper rivets, catch, hing & pin, everything on this badge is super tight. Additionally, the patina which has developed over it’s surface is absolutely stunning! As an added little display, a pocket from of an Afrika Corps light weight tunic is also included in this set, making for a neat background. These proficiency badges were awarded to aircrew member who flew a minimum of 5 combat missions over enemy territory, in Germany’s reign of terror during WWII. Knight’s Cross Ribbon – M341

As most collectors know, an original period 3rd Reich Knight’s Cross is an expensive investment, to say the least. While an original award might only be a dream for most, perhaps owning a section of a period worn ribbon might be a little treasure for you instead. And that is exactly what this is. The ribbon section is approximately 3 3/4 inches in length, and 45 mm in width. The material shows age and use, and is stiff with age where the cross once hung suspended. There are 4 little tack holes on one side, where the wearer attached presumable a collar fasten or neck strap. A neat historical RK ribbon section, worn by a hero of the 3rd Reich.  $275.00

                  Marksman Lanyard Emblem – M332

This is the emblem off of a rather expensive German shooting lanyard. It is for the highest ranking for these marksman awards, that of a grade 12. The bronze / copper finish on this piece is fantastic, and it has all of the fastening pins attached as well as in place. It rare to encounter one of these items separate from the actual lanyard that it goes on, which sell for over $700 themselves. Offered at $125.00
