This is a decent knot to complete your Army officer’s dagger with. The cord shows some fraying in 2 areas, and there are a couple of the strands on the acorn cap that have slid loose a little just on one side. This has to be the longest, thickest, and largest 3rd Reich portapee that I’ve ever seen. The cord is thick, the knot is extra large, and the bullion all nice and tight. It has to be near the length of a Navy knot, measuring 22 inches overall. I’ve never seen another like it, and would look fantastic on something like Red Cross officer’s dagger or even a Navy sword.
